The Therapy in having a Hobby You Love

According to researchers and Healthcare professionals, taking the time out in your day and envolving yourself in a hobbie or project that you enjoy, reduces your stress level tremendously. The benifits to lowering your stress level are: A better night sleep, Less Anxiety, Lowering Blood pressure, Less Muscle Tension, Better focus and concentration ability, Great for the Physical and Mental Health, and so much more. When your having a bad day or you're angry, overwhelmed, even depressed and feeling down. Take a personal time out and write a poem, draw or paint a picture, read a book or article, do arts and crafts, exercise, dance or sing, listen to your favorite music, decorate your place, involve yourself in an out-door activity, get the family or your friends together and play board games, bake something you've always wanted to make. What ever your interests and hobbies are, take the time out and do them. You will be amazed how much better you feel during and after you have. I deal with some anxiety and depression, in the past I felt stessed and overwhelmed quite often. Sense I began using Art/recreational Therapy as part of my daily routine, it's like I'm living a completely different life. But, I'm not, I'm just handling daily life issues much... MUCH... Better. Give it a chance you will love it. I hope what I've wrote has been helpful and have a great day.
